| Acrylics
are a very versatile medium to work with as they are inherently easier to control
than watercolors. At the same time they lend themselves to a wide range of experimentation.
I can build up a variety of layers and explore the techniques of glazing and surface
manipulation. I am fortunate to live near Golden Artist Paints, a manufacturer of high quality paints, glazes, grounds and varnishes. The availability of their products has encouraged me to explore the endless possibilities that the medium provides. | ||||||
